Rose Pellicano received her B.A. from Hunter College and studied painting at Parsons School of Design. In 1993 she was introduced to botanical painting by English botanical artist and teacher Anne-Marie Evans and has studied at the New York Botanical Gardens. As a member of Art Botanica, a botanical painting group based on Long Island, N.Y., Rose has collaborated in a series of botanical painting collections - Native Flora of Long Island, Flora from the Bible, and The Camellia Collection of Planting Fields Arboretum; these collections have been exhibited nationally. Rose's work has also been included in numerous ASBA juried exhibitions and is in the permanent collection of the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation.
