MaryBeth Hinrichs specializes in educational and scientific illustration. She majored in chemistry and biology in Kansas City and completed a Master s degree in Biochemistry at Georgetown University. It was there that she realized a strong (and surprising!) interest in educational graphics while completing her thesis. She pursued art education, including studies at the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory, in Minnesota where she resides with her family just outside of Minneapolis. She has taught botanical drawing and painting at the Conservatory for several years and has had her work included in several group shows.
