Carol Hamilton is an artist who has been specializing in botanical art and illustration since 1987. Her award winning work has been exhibited at such venues as the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation, the Denver Botanic Gardens, The New York Botanical Garden, the Missouri Botanical Garden, the New York Horticultural Society and Longwood Gardens. Carol has a traditional and historical approach to her work, revealing academic training in art history and theatre design received at New York University. She has served as president of the Greater New York Chapter of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators (1998-2002) and is currently secretary of the American Society of Botanical Artists.
