Ms. Denton holds a Certificate in Botanical Art from the Corcoran College of Art + Design in Washington, DC. She graduated with a BA in Fine Arts from California State University in Sacramento. Her work will be exhibited at the Corcoran Gallery of Art as part of Botanical Treasures of Lewis and Clark scheduled for May 19-July 9, 2006. She exhibits annually during the pre-Christmas show held at the studio of Carol Press, a Washington DC weaver. In addition to ASBA, she is a member of ArtTable, Inc., and the Botanical Art Society of the National Capitol Region.
